In 1954, Elmer Koepsell formed Koepsell Plumbing in Mayville, WI. In 1963, Emil Baerwald came to work for Koepsell Plumbing. Baerwald became the owner in 1969 and changed the name to Baerwald Plumbing. In 1970, Robert Bernhard came to work for Baerwald Plumbing after seeking his apprenticeship with Czoschke Plumbing & Heating. Bob then became a partner with Baerwald in 1982.

In 2002, Bob Bernhard became the sole owner of Baerwald Plumbing. That same year the name changed to Bernhard Plumbing, Inc. Although the name has changed three times, the business has been established for over 50 years. Currently, Bob's son Scott has been with the company since 1998. Bernhard Plumbing Inc. has two journeymen plumbers, one apprentice, along with Bob and Scott who both carry a master plumbers license. Bernhard Plumbing is dedicated to providing customers with the highest quality work and service we can offer. 

As of January 1, 2010, Scott became sole owner of the business.  Bob Bernhard continues his employment with the company as a master plumber.  You may find he is out of the office on occasion as he is getting a taste of what retirement might be like.
